Job summary

CNH Industrial Group in New Holland, PA, is seeking an on-site Assembly Technician to build complete units by wiring and fastening components along an assembly line. You will read engineering specifications and follow work instructions to ensure correct assembly and quality.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; forklift experience is preferred. The role offers on-site work with standard manufacturing benefits and opportunities for safety-focused, skilled workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Apply, align, attach, insert, and fasten parts to chassis in required order and sequence.
• Work from engineering specs, sketches, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform adjustments as unit progresses down the assembly line.
• Record defects and report improper operation or faulty equipment.
• Visually inspect parts and assemblies for completeness and function.
• Assist in developing assembly practices and procedures.
• Move materials as necessary to perform duties.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• May perform touch-up or small repairs when assigned.

Job Purpose

Assemble a wide variety of component parts, to build complete units, with a focus of on-line operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply, align, attach, insert, and fasten various commodities, components, parts, sub-assemblies, or units to chassis in required order and sequence.
• Work from Engineering specifications (work instructions), sketches, schematic diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, check sheets, photo books, and verbal instructions.
• Perform necessary adjustments as unit progresses down assembly line.
• Record defects that require off-line and on-line corrections. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, excessive continuation of defective parts, improper function, and assembling to proper supervision or management.
• Visually check parts and entire assemblies for completeness, function, operation, and appearance.
• Assist in the development of assembly practices and procedures.
• Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• May perform touch-up or small repair work when assigned.

Experience Required

High school diploma / GED

Preferred Qualifications

Previous forklift experience preferred.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role isUSD $25.80 - plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
