Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a material handler for an on-site role in Grand Rapids. The position involves receiving freight, data entry, and following 5S standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will rotate through stations based on staffing and training, with safety certifications potentially required for equipment like forklifts, tuggers, and cranes. Expect a 6:00am–2:30pm shift, Monday to Friday, with responsibilities including data entry, quality checks, and teamwork to keep operations

Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs as required.
  • Able to read and write English for assembly directions, work orders and safety instructions.
  • Completion of basic Forklift Training and Safety Orientation.
  • 3–6 months of material handling experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to keep up with high volume in a fast-moving environment.

Where Is The Work

On-Site (5 days)

What's In It For You

The general material process may require the employee to work at any station during the workday dependent on staffing and production demands. All employees may be expected to rotate to different areas, or they may be required to work in a specific area depending on experience, training, and skill level to perform work tasks. May be required to obtain certification for operation of Mules, Tuggers, Powered Industrial Trucks, Stackers and/or Overhead Cranes.

Work Shift Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday.
