Job Information

• Schedule: 1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday
• 2nd Shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm
• Occasional overtime on Saturdays

Objective: Transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jacket or using a lifting device attached to a hoist as specified within the standard work procedures.

Role & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Unload and stack material using a hoist-attached lifting device.
• Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices manually as needed.
• Manually load parts from racks, tubs, and bins in the warehouse to trays or racks on kit carts.
• Follow set routes through the department to load kit carts.
• Load and unload parts manually from the paint line.
• Maintain safety checks on equipment.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently in compliance with safety regulations.
• Use electronic scanners to transact material as needed.

Other Duties

• Keep aisles clean and organized.
• Assist in training and instructing others as requested.
• Complete preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
• Perform other non-essential duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must follow established methods and procedures, performing work accordingly.
• Ability to work quickly under time pressure for extended periods.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; allow for equivalent qualifications.
• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
• Job-specific skills and safe work practices learned through on-the-job and classroom training.
