Job summary

Danone North America's Minster, Ohio facility is hiring a Material Handler for a 12‑hour night shift. You will operate forklift, load/unload trucks, and use a warehouse management system and RF scanner while upholding safety and quality standards.

The base rate is $24.62 per hour, with a $1.00 shift premium for night hours, plus an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid breaks, tuition reimbursement and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Open schedule – able to work weekends and holidays when scheduled.
• Computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High mechanical aptitude.
• The ability to perform physical demands of a 12-hour shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in cold environments.
• Forklift and warehousing experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and drive a stand-up forklift in warehouses or coolers.
• Unload and load trucks and perform warehouse tasks using WMS and RF scanner.
• Pass forklift certification and work safely with strong attention to quality.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Stand/walk for the duration of a 12-hour night shift.

Material Handler – 12HR Shift

Job Location: US-OH-Minster

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Material Handler based in Minster!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Shift is 5:53 pm – 6:00 am for Nights on a 3‑2‑2 schedule
• Passing forklift certification and driving a stand‑up forklift in either the raw material warehouse or distribution cooler
• Working safely with a high attention to detail and quality
• Computer work including picking product using a warehouse management system and RF scanner
• Unload and load trucks
• Working as a team to achieve challenging production goals
• Working in a fast‑paced environment
• Working in a standing position, most of a 12‑hr shift
• Wearing a free uniform that includes safety shoes, bump cap, safety glasses, ear plugs, hairnet and beard net

Material Handler base rate is now $24.62 /hr!  Night shift employees receive an additional $1.00 /hr shift premium.
