AdvanSix in Virginia is hiring a Material Handler to support loading, warehousing, and shipping operations across tankers, boxes, sacks and overseas bulk containers. The role emphasizes adherence to AdvanSix OS principles, 5S, standard work, and continuous improvement.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts including holidays and overtime, and be comfortable operating a computer with Word/Excel and lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts including holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, warehouse, and ship tankers, boxes, sacks and overseas bulk containers.
• Participate in AdvanSix OS principles (Standard Work, 5S, Continuous Improvement).
• Obtain a forklift license.
• Participate in scheduled and unscheduled outages.
• Train unqualified Material Handlers.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.
