Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking a Material Handler 1/Forklift for a 12-month contract in Sumter, SC. The role requires standing up and operating a forklift, RF scanning, and pallet packing across a 40-hour Week schedule (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.).

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a readiness to work in a controlled medical devices distribution environment. Eye exam and drug screen are required.

Job Description -

• General Summary Duties and Responsibilities Pallet/Case Picking
• Processing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes.
• Pick and pack orders.
• Processing orders through RF technology.
• Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions.
• Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
• Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles
• Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Pallet Build
• Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets.
• Re-palletizing products for shipment.
• May be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper.
• May be required to transport pallets by walking MHE.
• Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.

Additional Duties

• Must follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses.
