Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is currently seeking a Logistics Material Handler for our team. This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our facility located at the Kennedy Space Center, FL site.

Role description & Responsibilities:

The Logistics Material Handler is responsible for supporting control, inventory, and distribution of tools, material, or property to manufacturing operations.

Job Duties:

1. Works safely, takes responsibility for personal safety and safety of teammates.
2. Ensure materials and tools are correct.
3. Ensure calibrated tools are controlled and calibration current.
4. Ensure materials and tools are delivered to the right locations.
5. Ensure materials and tools are processed on time in support of established schedules.
6. Ensure inventory is accurate.
7. Seeks and leads continuous improvement of material and tool handling processes.

Basic Qualifications:

This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a level 1:

1. Candidate must have demonstrated proficiency operating forklifts.
2. Candidate must be able to work independently to rigorous deadlines with minimal supervision.
3. High School Diploma and 0 years of work-related experience.

Basic Qualifications for level 2:

1. Candidate must have demonstrated proficiency operating forklifts.
2. Candidate must be able to work independently to rigorous deadlines with minimal supervision.
3. High School Diploma and 2 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Preferred:

1. Experience with logistics/warehouse.
2. Experience in computers and computer processes.
3. Experience working in the aerospace industry.
4. Experience working under the safety and security requirements of a secure government facility.
5. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
2. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
3. Detail-oriented but able to understand the big picture.
4. Ability to read and follow policies/procedures.
5. Ability to work under a deadline.
6. Ability to work hours necessary to meet business objectives, including overtime (40+ hours in a work week).

Salary Range: $31,200 - $50,900

Salary Range 2: $36,300 - $60,500
