OBE is seeking a Material Handler 1 - Glass for the Battle Ground, WA facility. This full-time role handles materials with vacuum lift assist, moves carts, and supports production under supervision. The position offers a 2nd shift with a $2.00 night differential.

Ideal candidates are committed, detail-oriented, and team players who can work across plant functions and adhere to safety policies while helping meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Basic computer input and interface skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and move materials using vacuum lift assist equipment.
• Inspect and accept or reject materials and products per procedures.

What You’ll Get to Do

Thefull-time Material Handler 1- Glass (2nd shift + $2.00 night differential)for our Battle Ground,WAfacility is focused on moving materials using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process and reports the Production Supervisor.

Job responsibilities include:

• The ability to perform tasks safely, adhere to all safety policies and procedures and correct or report hazards in the workplace
• Understand and apply inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products
• Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting. Keep work areas clean and organized
• Understand and comply with all written policies, work rules, and instructions. Execute verbal directions as instructed.
• Respect co-workers to maintain a civil and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic computer input and interface skills
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Stable work history with previous manufacturing/fabrication experience and/or mechanical aptitude preferred
• Must be flexible to work in different functions throughout the plant
• Available to work a 5-day workweek with occasional work on Saturdays
• Hours: 2nd shift 3:30pm-11:30pm

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, twist, carry, walk, and reach frequently
• Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other safety equipment for eight to twelve hours per day
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without temperature or humidity control
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs

Position Pay Range

$20.50 - $21.50 USD
