Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Battle Ground, WA is hiring a full-time Material Handler 1 - Glass for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on moving materials using vacuum lift assist equipment, lifting and moving mobile carts, and supporting the production process under the supervision of the Production Supervisor.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player who can operate safely and follow instructions.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer input and interface skills.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Stable manufacturing/fabrication experience and/or mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must be flexible to work in different functions.
• Available to work a 5-day workweek with occasional Saturdays.
• Hours: 2nd shift 3:30pm-11:30pm.

What You’ll Get to Do

Thefull-time Material Handler 1- Glass (2nd shift + $2.00 night differential)for our Battle Ground,WAfacility is focused on moving materials using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process and reports the Production Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who is committed, detail oriented, and a team player. A vital member of the Production Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• The ability to perform tasks safely, adhere to all safety policies and procedures and correct or report hazards in the workplace
• Understand and apply inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products
• Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting. Keep work areas clean and organized
• Understand and comply with all written policies, work rules, and instructions. Execute verbal directions as instructed.
• Respect co-workers to maintain a civil and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Available to work a 5-day workweek with occasional work on Saturdays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, twist, carry, walk, and reach frequently
• Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other safety equipment for eight to twelve hours per day
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without temperature or humidity control
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs

Position Pay Range

$20.50 - $21.50 USD
