Job summary

Weber Blackstone in the United States is seeking a Material Handler to manage the flow of parts and support production. You will load/unload parts to conveyors and equipment, while ensuring accurate stocking and quality checks. A strong focus on safety, efficiency, and collaboration with other teams is essential.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and proficiency with RF scanners. This is an hourly, full-time position offering benefits under our U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or 1–2 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with teammates.
• Understanding of basic quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Transfers parts from one work cell to another.
• Prepares parts for storage and hanging by protecting, sorting, stacking or racking.
• Utilizes RF scanner to request or return components to storage racks.
• Maintains inventory by separating scrap and defective parts and ensuring correct quantities.
• Supports order fulfillment by accurate part identification and stocking.
• Monitors production quality via self-check and conformity to standards.
• Adheres to safety policies and maintains housekeeping and 5S practices.

Role Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Material Handler you will be controlling the flow of parts. You will be loading and unloading parts to and from conveyors, equipment, or containers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Transfers parts from one work cell to another.
• Prepares parts for storage and hanging by protecting, sorting, stacking and or racking.
• Utilizing an RF scanner to request or return components back to storage racks
• Maintains inventory by segregating scrap and defective parts, correctly identifying parts, and maintaining quantities based on pre-established requirements.
• Accumulates production for order fulfillment where applicable, identifies items correctly to ensure proper stocking methods.
• Monitors quality of production by self-check, successive check and comparison to quality standards.
• Active with continual improvement of the process.
• Watch for defects and quality of product.
• Proper lifting and proper usage of cutting devices
• Work in a safe manner and ensure to follow all company policies and procedures
• Maintaining housekeeping, 5s and other duties as assigned
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels and departments

Tools needed to thrive:

WORKING CONDITIONS:

General Factory

Hourly Position Range: $19.40 - $21.75

*This hourly range represents Weber's good faith belief of what we reasonably expect to pay the top candidate
