Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in United States (Illinois) seeks a warehouse associate for tire receiving, storing, picking and shipping. You will load and unload tires, store them in proper locations, and prepare orders for shipment while operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

The role follows a third shift schedule (M-F, 9:30 pm - 6:00 am) and requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Safety procedures and inventory accuracy are emphasized, with opportunities for training and growth within

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Loads, unloads, checks and tallies tires to and from carriers [trailer trucks]
  • Stores tires in assigned warehouse locations
  • Selects, packs, weighs, marks, palletizes tires of customer orders and places in the assigned staging areas bin locator system
  • Checks and verifies accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders
  • Operates reach truck, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in the execution of duties. Ensures safety guidelines are met in operating the equipment
  • Performs required counting, tallying and marking on related inventory control documents
  • Participates in cycle and/or annual physical inventories
  • Ensures safety guidelines are met by the proper palletizing, re-palletizing, and restacking of tires
  • Performs other miscellaneous warehouse-related and safety duties
  • Maintain compliance with procedures and policies
  • This will be a third shift position M-F 9:30 pm - 6:00 am

Position Summary

Physical Requirements: Must be able to physically lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, selecting, and shipping of tires and related materials and equipment.
