Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Material Handler to move and stage materials for order processing. You will check received items, stock by catalog number, and prepare shipments while using Excel to track orders.

You will pull materials to fill customer orders, pack shipments, and maintain clean, safe work areas. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator.
• Ability to read and understand paperwork.
• Able to use a PC with some Word and Excel experience.
• Must be able to work in a production environment that may be subject to varied temperatures and other conditions, such as noise (conveyor) and dust.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 10 hour shifts and possess the ability to frequently bend and lift 50 lbs.
• This position is subject to scheduled overtime which may be required based on production needs.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming product against receiving documents to insure correct quality, quantity, and type of material that has been received.
• Stock materials in appropriate areas and locations by catalog number.
• Pull proper material to fill customer orders insuring correct quality, quantity, and type is pulled.
• Pack orders for shipment in appropriate containers to insure product quality and guard against damage.
• Responsible to maintain and organize orders being held to ship complete to our customers by using our inventory management system and Excel spreadsheets.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized work areas.
