Material Handler
Westfield IN
Duration 12 months

This is a 2nd Shift position from 2:30PM to 11:30PM - EST in Westfield, IN - 100% Onsite

This position involves Warehouse – Material Handling responsibilities.

• Duration is one year with the possibility to extend or convert based on performance.
• Part of the Structural Heart Division, where products go into a person's heart, making quality assurance and control critical.

• Top Skills Needed: Previous manufacturing, operations, or assembly experience (not necessarily in Pharma or Medical Industry). Must have a positive attitude and do a good job.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years in the areas mentioned above.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Training will be provided during the first week, covering safety and compliance. This is a clean room position (8 hours daily) focused on getting material to the line. Candidates must be willing to work in this environment.

Primary Tasks include:

1. Fulfilling material requests from the clean room and performing SAP inventory movement transactions.
2. Assigning materials to production work orders both physically and in SAP.
3. Performing cycle counts and daily 5S activities for auditing, cleaning, organizing, and continuous improvement.
4. Handling medical device products in the warehouse on a low volume basis, with parts as small as a hair, requiring a quality mentality due to their use in human hearts.
5. Assisting receiving and shipping employees with tasks.
6. Overtime hours will only be needed when required, not regularly.
