Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Warehouse Assistant - Material Handler

Location: Allentown, PA

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Assistant - Material Handler to join our team! The Warehouse Assistant - Material Handler will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into and out of a warehouse. Under supervision and established guidelines, the Warehouse Assistant - Material Handler is responsible for the day-to-day tasks of shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

What you will be doing:

1. Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers, maintaining attention to detail and completing work in a timely manner.
2. Interact with shipping companies, purchasing, customer service, and branch management.
3. Address non-standard issues and customer inquiries by escalating to senior warehouse personnel.
4. Follow safety procedures and promote safety among colleagues.
5. Operate forklift or other machinery safely to load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products.
6. Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and managing delivery areas.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

What makes you great:

• 3+ years of warehouse experience (preferred).
• Gas industry experience (a plus).
• Forklift certification and experience.
• High School Degree or GED required.
