Job summary

Irby Utilities in Utah is seeking a Material Handler to support logistics operations and improve efficiency. You will load, unload, and move materials, operate material handling equipment, and fill orders using RF devices while maintaining accurate inventory and safe work practices.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a fast-paced warehouse environment and opportunities for skill development and growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English to perform the essential functions of the position, follow safety procedures, understand work-related instructions, and complete required documentation

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the work site
• Using RF devices to fill orders and issue materials per requests
• Operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks)
• Packing and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently

Material Handler Job Summary

Your logistical expertise will help add value to our efficiency and productivity. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Working independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near work site
• Utilizing RF devices to fill orders and issue materials and supplies per requests
• Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies
• Packing and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Championing effective inventory management practices
• Adhering to and promoting safety and security policies and procedures
• Demonstrating exceptional reliability while maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English to perform the essential functions of the position, follow safety procedures, understand work-related instructions, and complete required documentation
• Ability to reach, bend, and lift/push packages thatweigh up to 50lbs.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills
• Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week
