Job summary

Bel Fuse Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Material Handler to kit, pick, pack and ship materials while maintaining inventory accuracy aligned with production, quality and safety standards. You will operate material handling equipment and support inventory controls in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to communicate across teams, and adherence to DOT training when handling hazardous shipments. This is a full-time on-site position in Waseca, MN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Job description

The Material Handler will accurately kit, pick, pack, and ship material while maintaining an accurate inventory consistent with
production,
quality, and safety.

Are You Looking To:

• Kitting, bagging, shipping and moving parts.
• Demonstrate good judgment of dimensions for packaging materials and movement.
• Demonstrate proper handling of material handling equipment.
• Conduct cycle counts and verify inventory levels throughout the facility.
• Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly correct and/or notify facilitator/coordinator of hazardous situations.

Are You Ready To:

• Assume other projects and responsibilities as directed.
• Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.
• Position reports to Warehouse Supervisor. Primary contacts are all manufacturing, various office areas, order entry, material planners and purchasing and may have contact with outside vendors, and must communicate well at all levels and exhibit effective team skills.
• This position is accountable for daily activities with kitting, picking, packing and shipping materials. Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Specific tasks assigned may require “Department of Transportation Shippers Training” in accordance with 40 CFR 172.700-704 – if the task assigned involves the shipping of hazardous materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months experience in a similar manufacturing environment, with warehouse experience preferred.
