Job Description

DWM Holdings is looking to fill a 1st shift Material Handler position. This role is responsible for inventory management, reporting directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager, working closely with the Procurement Department, and being part of the Production team.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out cycle counts in all zones as per procurement and production schedules.
• Organize raw material stock in each zone.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials.
• Ensure paperwork is properly completed and documented in the ERP system.
• Support production with pole tracking and organization on the production floors.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects related to all zones.

Other Responsibilities:

• Move materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
• Read work orders and follow instructions to determine materials to be moved.
• Determine materials required for production orders and stage them accordingly.
• Load and unload materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using appropriate equipment.
• Secure materials for transit using hand tools and proper strapping or padding.
• Assemble crates for products using hand tools and pre-cut lumber.
• Restock bins, baskets, racks, pallets, and cabinets within the plant.
• Receive materials, verify against invoices, and assist in inventory management.

Requirements:

• Experience in inventory management and shipping/receiving.
• Ability to read BOMs and BOLs.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HILO experience.
• ERP system proficiency.
• Background in continuous improvement projects.
