Aerotek is seeking an Equipment Operator for a contract-to-hire role in Petersburg, VA. The position focuses on operating overhead cranes, moving heavy materials, and maintaining safety around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include inventory handling, loading, shipping paperwork, and potential cross-training as a saw, brake, forklift, or steel bending operator. Onsite work with competitive pay and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Heavy industrial or construction experience required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to learn and retain information based on color coding.
• Capability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Experience operating equipment safely around heavy machinery.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
