Job summary

Briggs & Stratton is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support production lines in the New York area. You will load and unload trucks, transport materials, and ensure timely supplies to assembly, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Applicants should have a General Education Degree, basic computer skills, and be fluent in English. Prior material handling experience is preferred; forklift operation is required and other material handling equipment may be used.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
