Job summary

Universal Pure, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to move products and support HPP by operating a forklift and pallet jack within a cold manufacturing environment in Villa Rica, GA. Responsibilities include inventory checks, shipping/receiving, RF tasks, and safety compliance.

Shifts are 12 hours (7 am–7:15 pm) with alternating weekends; the role requires good math, English communication, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 6 months MHE/forklift experience preferred.

Brief Description

The Material Handler provides support for HPP by moving product from Warehouse and HPP production areas.

12 Hours Shifts - 7 am - 7:15 pm (36 hours one week and 48 hours next week) Every other weekend

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities

• Utilize a manual pallet jack to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials
• Use a forklift to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials
• Performing inventory counts for accuracy and discrepancies
• Shipping and receiving duties as assigned
• Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and putaway
• Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle
• Perform order filler and checker duties
• Maintain equipment and perform pre-operation checks according to policy
• Following health, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 6 months MHE/forklift experience preferred
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems
• Refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic mental math
• Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)
• Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

• This job operates in a wet and cold environment located within a manufacturing facility. The average temperature is 32 degrees.
• This position requires the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours shifts and perform repetitive bending, twisting and lifting. It requires the ability to lift 45 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. rarely.
