Job Description

Moves materials using carts, overhead cranes, forklifts, or other methods to ensure materials are delivered to required locations for fabrication and welding. Performs work consistent with the company mission and values, producing a product that meets recognized standards and customer expectations by maintaining quality and safety procedures. This is a safety-sensitive position, impacting the health and safety of oneself, coworkers, and the public (end-users of our product).

Essential Functions

• Must be certified to operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Must be able to rig properly.
• Performs duties as assigned by supervisor, including cleaning, trash and scrap removal, and other production-related tasks.
• Supports the Crystal Steel Lean Initiative through active engagement and participation in continuous process improvement projects based on Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Assists in data collection, participates in RIE workshops, and contributes to the implementation of solutions. Shares lessons learned and provides feedback for further improvements.
• Consistently exceeds goals as communicated by supervision.
• Complies with Health and Safety, Environmental, and Lean manufacturing policies and procedures.
• Maintains a positive work atmosphere by effective communication with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.
• Works in a safe and conscientious manner.
