Job Summary

The Material Handler unloads trucks and trailers to support production and revenue goals by following proper handling, loading, and unloading procedures. Responsibilities include loading store shipments according to bill of lading and delivering goods and equipment safely and efficiently using proper equipment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training activities to acquire on-the-job skills
• Apply company policies, procedures, and guidelines to complete duties
• Deliver goods to workstations using proper equipment
• Sort, label, and organize goods appropriately
• Stack donated goods safely and neatly
• Handle goods and equipment carefully to prevent damage
• Load and secure shipments properly
• Manage recyclable materials correctly
• Perform inventory counts based on invoices, bills of lading, and manifests
• Assist drivers with loading/unloading
• Maintain cleanliness around the dock area
• Complete and submit production and inventory reports timely
• Perform 'Processor' duties as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned
