Job summary

Archway Marketing Service is seeking a warehouse associate to unload, receive, ship, relocate, and store materials using a forklift or similar equipment. You will pick, pack, label, and prepare shipments while maintaining accurate inventory and updating our Warehouse Management System.

The role requires basic math/reading, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team. Certification or eligibility for forklift certification within 30 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Current forklift certification and/or ability to certify within 30 days.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds solo; team lifts allowed.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, ship, relocate, and store materials using forklift or power equipment.
• Operate power equipment safely and certified.
• Pick and pack items for shipment; label and prepare for shipment.
• Maintain inventory placement with Inventory Control.
• Complete paperwork and time-tracking; update Warehouse Management System.

Job description

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Responsible for the accurate unloading, receiving, shipping, relocating, and storing of materials, utilizing a forklift or other power operated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of all power operated equipment that requires certification
• Safe and efficient movement of Product. (Including loading and unloading trucks)
• Accurately pick and pack items for shipment potentially with a forklift
• Label and prepare items for shipment
• Work with Inventory Control on correct product placement
• Complete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation
• Maintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming items
• Ensure all items not required short term are restocked according to established procedures
• Update Warehouse Management System with transaction
• Performs daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedure
• Assist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
• Assist in cycle counting and periodic inventories
• Assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Update supervisor and team lead on issues or concerns
• Participate in process Improvement by communicating to supervisor and/or team lead
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• Support and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices and work instructions. (ISO standards where applicable)
• All other duties as assigned

• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environment
• Physical requirements include: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time, ability to handle heights
