Job summary

Archway Marketing Services in Maple Grove is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift (4pm-12:30am, Monday to Friday). Pay is $21.00 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.

Location is Maple Grove, MN, with comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, and more. Responsibilities include unloading, receiving, shipping, relocating, and storing materials using forklift or power equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Current forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, ship, relocate, and store materials using forklift or power equipment.
• Operate power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pick and pack items for shipment, potentially with a forklift.
• Label items for shipment and assist inventory control.
• Maintain warehouse order and restock items per procedures.
• Update Warehouse Management System with transactions.

Responsible for the accurate unloading, receiving, shipping, relocating, and storing of materials, utilizing a forklift or other power operated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of all power operated equipment that requires certification
• Safe and efficient movement of Product. (Including loading and unloading trucks)
• Accurately pick and pack items for shipment potentially with a forklift
• Label and prepare items for shipment
• Work with Inventory Control on correct product placement
• Complete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation
• Maintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming items
• Ensure all items not required short term are restocked according to established procedures
• Update Warehouse Management System with transaction
• Performs daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedure
• Assist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
• Assist in cycle counting and periodic inventories
• Assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Update supervisor and team lead on issues or concerns
• Participate in process Improvement by communicating to supervisor and/or team lead
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• Support and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices and work instructions. (ISO standards where applicable)
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred
• Current forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within a 30-day period required
• Basic math and reading skills
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions
• Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environment
• Physical requirements include: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time, ability to handle heights
