Job summary

Hirecruiting is seeking a dependable Material Handler in Solon, OH to help keep production lines running smoothly by ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time. You will pull and prep materials, package shipments, and unload raw materials, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, labeling, assisting with production order setup, operating equipment per work orders, inspecting materials, and staging items for upcoming orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to perform basic math and read specifications.
• Able to read measuring devices (tape measure, ruler, caliper, micrometer).
• Follow written safety procedures and work in a production environment.
• Basic computer skills expected; forklift/tow motor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package, handle, and protect finished and raw materials.
• Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving.
• Label materials and return to stock as needed.
• Assist with setup of production orders and operate equipment per work orders when needed.

**Material Handler** **Solon, OH** **$1,000 Sign on Bonus** **Material Handler** plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly by ensuring materials, parts, and products are in the right place at the right time. Assists with pulling and prepping materials, preparing and packaging shipments, and unloading raw materials. **Material Handler Responsibilities:*** Package, handle, and protect finished materials and raw materials produced on machines* Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving products* Label materials going back to stock* Assist other operators in the setup of production orders (i.e. core cutting, packaging materials, etc.)* Occasionally assist the operators to help operate and run the machine that slits product to customer specifications and dimensions according to work orders* Inspect materials to make sure it matches what is required for the orders (i.e. gauge, width sign-offs)* Locate and stage materials for upcoming orders and put back raw materials to correct location* Unload inbound vendor material and inspect it per our requirements.**Material Handler Requirements:*** High school diploma/GED required* Previous experience working in a production facility or manufacturing facility* Mathematical aptitude* Ability to read/understand specifications* Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measure, ruler, caliper, dial indicator, micrometer and scale* Follow written safety procedures* Tow motor driving experience preferred* Forklift Certification preferred* Basic computer skills preferred
