Job summary

Employ-Temps is seeking a Material Handler in Strongsville, OH to support warehouse operations by maintaining a continuous materials supply to each machine and ensuring smooth production flow.

The role requires moving materials, labeling, stacking, and operating an industrial truck or hoist as needed. Training may start on the first shift (8:00 am – 4:30 pm). Pay starts at $18+ per hour, depending on experience, with a 3:45pm–12:15am shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work as a team member or independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents.
• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
• Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

Material Handler

We are looking for an experienced Material Handler to assist our client in Strongsville, OH with their warehouse operations.

In this position you will be maintaining continuous materials supply at each machine to enable efficient operations without disruption due to lack of materials.

Pay:

• $18+/hr depending on experience

Shift:

• 3:45pm-12:15am (Training will be on 1st shift - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm)
