Job summary

Hirecruiting is seeking a Material Handler in Walton Hills, OH to safely move, stage, and supply raw materials and finished plastic sheet products for the extrusion line. You will operate forklifts and hand-jack equipment, verify materials, and maintain accurate inventories.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math, tape measure reading skills, and the ability to follow procedures. Forklift certification is preferred, and basic computer skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, tow motors, pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.

• Stage finished products for shipment and assist Shipping/Receiving.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and report discrepancies.

# Material HandlerApply**Material Handler** **Walton Hills, OH** **$1,000 Sign on Bonus** The **Material Handler** is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, staging, receiving, storing, and supplying raw materials and finished plastic sheet products throughout the manufacturing facility. This position supports the extrusion production team by ensuring materials are available when needed and that products are properly identified, packaged, stored, and prepared for shipment. **Material Handler Responsibilities:*** Safely operate forklifts, tow motors, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment* Load and unload raw materials, finished products, pallets, and supplies* Move raw materials to designated production areas according to production schedules and instructions* Supply plastic sheet extrusion lines with the appropriate raw materials, cores, packaging materials, and other production supplies* Remove finished products from production areas and transport them to designated staging or storage locations* Properly identify, label, and organize raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods* Assist with receiving incoming materials and verifying quantities and identification against receiving documents* Stage finished products for shipment and assist Shipping and Receiving as needed.* Maintain accurate inventory locations and report discrepancies, damaged materials, or shortages to management* Properly handle and dispose of scrap plastic and return materials according to company procedures* Inspect pallets, packaging, and materials for damage before moving or storing them**Material Handler Requirements:*** High school diploma/GED required* Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred* Must be able to read a tape measure* Proficient at basic math* Forklift certification preferred* Basic computer skills preferred
