Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Slate Hill, NY seeks a Material Handler for our client’s production team. You will support manufacturing operations with strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency.

Duties include handling ingredients, weighing and mixing per recipes, documenting results, moving products to pallets, and assisting with packaging. Shift is 2nd: Mon–Fri 3:00 pm–11:30 pm; pay is $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written instructions precisely and maintain detailed documentation.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy bags and perform manual tasks.
• Good handwriting and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with physical demands.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing or production processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mix ingredients according to detailed recipe instructions for large batch production
• Open bags of powder ingredients and prepare them for mixing in large drums
• Monitor temperature gauges and document results accurately on flow charts
• Assist in bagging and boxing finished products, then place on pallets for shipment
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and using utility knives safely

As a Material Handler, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring smooth manufacturing processes and maintaining safety and efficiency. Location: Slate Hill, NY

Pay Range: $19.00/hr.

Shift: 2nd Shift Monday to Friday 3pm-1130pm
