Job summary

Anco Engineering in Shelton, CT is seeking a Material Handler to unload sheet metal and structural metal from incoming trucks and supply materials to operators as needed. Training is provided to perform the job safely and efficiently.

The role involves inspecting materials for damage and documenting details, safely storing items in racks, and delivering materials to production lines on request. Prior warehouse or metal fabrication experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling, warehouse, or metal fabrication environment preferred.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment. (Training Provided as needed)
• Basic understanding of sheet metal and structural materials (Training provided as needed)
• Ability to read work orders, material lists, and basic measurements (Training provided as needed)
