Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Santa Clara is seeking a Material Handler to join a tech company. The role runs Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm, with start ASAP and potential temp-to-perm. Responsibilities include inventory control, order processing, and shipping/receiving, with emphasis on accuracy and timely data entry.

Candidates will read work orders, follow SOPs, and prepare labels, cartons, and pallets for shipment while maintaining clean work areas. KPI targets apply; start date ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Follow pick and pack instructions to assemble kits and prepare shipments.
• Maintain shipping/receiving documentation and perform data entry.
• Meet daily KPI metrics and perform other duties as assigned.

• $25-$28 per hour
• The position of Material Handler maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on pick lists; maintains in-process inventory in production areas by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Position includes basic warehouse equipment knowledge and usage.Perform general physical activities in warehouse: loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment.
• Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments.
• Understand and follow SOP instructions to perform the functions of the job.
• Create system tickets for inventory adjustment and order processing.
• Follow detailed pick and pack instructions to assemble kits.
• Ships and receives items, pulls orders and verifies type and quantity of ordered items.
• Prepares documentation and performs data entry.
• Maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
• Prepares labels/cartons/boxes/pallets for product and shipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards at all times for a clean, conducive work environment.
• Meet and/or exceed daily KPI metrics
• Perform other duties as assigned.
