Job summary

ManpowerGroup in San Jose, CA seeks a Material Handler I – Picker/Packer to support production and shipping. You will unbox materials, pack products, label, and prepare pallets for shipment while performing basic quality checks. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance and working Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM in a fast-paced environment.

Temp-to-Hire with pay range $18.00–$22.00 per hour. Authorization to work in the U.S. is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of general work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship not available).
• Experience with server components, IT systems, testing and troubleshooting, ISO standards, or OSHA safety practices is preferred.
• Ability to follow written instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Unbox raw materials and perform minor assembly using a power screwdriver.
• Package products, apply labels, and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Perform basic quality inspections, including measuring, weighing, package counts, and visual inspections.
• Inspect incoming deliveries for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production floor while supporting warehouse operations.
