Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a Material Handler in Santa Clara, CA. This temp-to-perm role runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm, with start ASAP. You will maintain inventory, handle materials, and perform shipping/receiving tasks in a growing tech environment.

Ideal candidates will read and follow work orders and SOPs, operate basic warehouse equipment, and meet daily KPI targets. Training is provided, with room for advancement as the company grows.

• $25-$28 per hour
• The position of Material Handler maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on pick lists; maintains in-process inventory in production areas by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Position includes basic warehouse equipment knowledge and usage.Perform general physical activities in warehouse: loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment.
• Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments.
• Understand and follow SOP instructions to perform the functions of the job.
• Create system tickets for inventory adjustment and order processing.
• Follow detailed pick and pack instructions to assemble kits.
• Ships and receives items, pulls orders and verifies type and quantity of ordered items.
• Prepares documentation and performs data entry.
• Maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
• Prepares labels/cartons/boxes/pallets for product and shipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards at all times for a clean, conducive work environment.
• Meet and/or exceed daily KPI metrics
• Perform other duties as assigned.
