Job summary

Barracuda Networks in San Jose, CA is seeking an entry-level Material Handler to join our Inventory Team. You will assist with inventory levels, receive and log inbound merchandise, and coordinate with other departments to support operations.

Requirements include 0–4 years warehousing/receiving, a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift 10–75 lb, and willingness to work full-time with possible weekends/overtime. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0–4 yrs experience in warehousing/receiving.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift and maneuver between 10–75 lb.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Stand for 8 hours per day and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned by department Supervisor(s).
• Assist delivery drivers with unloading/loading merchandise.
• Receive ordered merchandise and log damage, quantities, and backorders; stock/restock.
• Handle paperwork for order receipts.
• Record inbound/outbound shipments in the transaction log.
• Cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Receive returns into the BOS system.
• Support physical inventory activities.
• Track items low in stock for re-ordering.
• Study parts catalogs and price books.
• Prepare materials for the assembly line.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Maintain department appearance and displays.
• Work hours: Full-time; weekends and overtime may be required.

Barracuda Networks is currently looking for an entry-level Material Handler to join our Inventory Team. This individual will assist and maintain inventory levels, receive and accurately log inbound ordered merchandise, coordinate activities, and collaborate with other department employees to best support operations.

What you’ll be working on

• Performing duties as assigned by department Supervisor(s)
• Assisting delivery drivers with unloading and/or loading merchandise
• Receive ordered merchandise by checking each item for damage, correct quantities, backorders, etc., Stock and restock merchandise
• Handle paperwork involved in order receipts
• Record all inbound and outbound shipments into transaction log
• Cycle count to ensure inventory levels are accurate
• Receive returns into our Barracuda Order System (BOS)
• Help with physical inventory
• Keep track of items low in stock for re-ordering
• Studying parts catalogs, price books, and individualized instruction course
• Prepare materials needed for assembly line
• Keep assigned sections of work area clean and always organized
• Maintaining the appearance of the department and displays
• Work Hours: Full-time regular employment. Weekends and overtime may be required

What you bring to the role

• 0-4 yrs. of experience in warehousing/receiving
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Able to lift and maneuver between 10-75lb
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Able to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and stand repetitively for 8 hours a day
• Ability to work independently but also collaborate with others

San Jose, CA only. The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $49,000 – $52,000. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
