Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Pull, stage, and deliver parts from inventory to production lines.
  • Record material movements and maintain inventory accuracy in ERP/WMS.
  • Receive, stock, and organize materials per locations and standards.
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Monitor usage and report shortages to the Team Lead.
  • Maintain 5S and safety standards in the inventory cage.
  • Assist with training new employees and complex ERP transactions.

Summary

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler II to support manufacturing operations through accurate inventory management, material transactions, and timely delivery of components from a controlled inventory environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production schedules, inventory accuracy, and uninterrupted material flow to manufacturing lines.This role is responsible for accurate material handling, inventory transactions, and timely delivery of parts to production. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, safety focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Pull, stage, and deliver parts and components from the inventory cage to production lines
  • Accurately perform material movements, inventory adjustments, and transaction processing within ERP/WMS systems while maintaining inventory integrity and traceability.
  • Receive, stock, and organize materials within the cage according to established locations and standards
  • Support cycle counts, audits, and physical inventory activities
  • Monitor material usage and report low stock or shortages to the Team Lead
  • Maintain organization, 5S, and safety standards within the inventory cage
  • Follow material handling procedures to ensure part quality and traceability
  • Respond to production requests with a sense of urgency to minimize line downtime
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to material flow and inventory accuracy
  • Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies.
  • Investigate transaction errors.
  • Support training of new employees.
  • Perform complex ERP transactions.
  • Participate in root-cause investigations.
  • Independently prioritize production requests.
  • Identify material shortages, transaction discrepancies, or process issues and upscale or resolve them appropriately to support production continuity.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, inventory control, or materials management environment preferred.
  • Understanding of basic inventory control and material handling processes
  • Experience using ERP or inventory systems a plus
  • Ability to read part numbers, labels, and work instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to learn inventory systems and manufacturing processes
  • Basic computer and scanner proficiency

Typical Education and Experience
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • 1 – 3 years of experience
ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities.
  • Work environments include proximity to moving mechanical parts, repetitive hand motion
