Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a reliable Production Schedule Support (Material Handler) to support manufacturing production lines by working within a secure inventory cage. This role is responsible for accurate material handling, inventory transactions, and timely delivery of parts to production. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, safety focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pull, stage, and deliver parts and components from the inventory cage to production lines
  • Accurately perform inventory transactions using ERP/WMS systems and scanning tools
  • Receive, stock, and organize materials within the cage according to established locations and standards
  • Support cycle counts, audits, and physical inventory activities
  • Monitor material usage and report low stock or shortages to the Team Lead
  • Maintain organization, 5S, and safety standards within the inventory cage
  • Follow material handling procedures to ensure part quality and traceability
  • Respond to production requests with a sense of urgency to minimize line downtime
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to material flow and inventory accuracy
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or materials role preferred
  • Understanding of basic inventory control and material handling processes
  • Experience using ERP or inventory systems a plus
  • Ability to read part numbers, labels, and work instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability

Typical Education and Experience

High School Degree or equivalent; 0 – 1 year of experience.

Environment and Physical Requirements

Employee must be able to meet the following requirements: frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs; lift, carry, push, pull, or move heavy equipment and supplies; reach above and below the shoulder; use hand and power tools occasionally; wear personal protective equipment; handle physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion; work in proximity to moving mechanical parts and repetitive hand motion.
