Rite-Hite Products Corporation in Horn Lake, MS, is seeking an Inventory/Materials Coordinator to manage warehouse inventory, ensure timely supply to the production floor, and oversee cycle counting for accuracy. The role collaborates with planners, maintains stock levels, and drives lean materials practices.
The position involves office and production floor work, supervising warehouse staff, and generating reports with JDE documentation. A degree or relevant experience is required.
This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, and storing production parts/components in the warehouse. It also oversees the supply of materials to the production floor and manages the cycle count program to ensure component inventory accuracy. Incumbent carries out responsibilities in the office and on the shop floor.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work in any and all areas at subordinate level. Lean manufacturing experience desired, especially related to logistics/replenishment/PFEP/kanban/pull systems.
The employee is required to spend most of this time on the production floor. Frequently walking, standing, reaching, pulling, stooping, climbing, crouching, or crawling. Visual ability includes close vision; color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Noise level ranges from moderate to loud.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is also exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
