Job summary

Henkel in Salisbury, NC is seeking a production operative to operate machines and equipment safely, set up and adjust tooling per specs, and monitor output quality. You will maintain daily production records and help develop a high-performance team on the shop floor.

The role is non-exempt with overtime eligibility. Training is provided, and you will participate in inventory control, hazardous materials handling, and ensuring PPE compliance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED or equivalent education.
• Experience loading, unloading, and transferring materials safely.
• Inventory management of mini-bulk tanks; labeling/documentation.
• Bulk chemical loading/unloading and proper storage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Operate forklift/PIT; comply with PPE; hazardous materials handling.

The hourly payrate for this role is $22.00. This rate reflects the good‑faith minimumand maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects to offer for thisposition at the time of posting. This role is classified as non‑exempt,and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state,and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees in this position maybe eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms ofcompensation, depending on role and location. The Company also offers acomprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation willdepend on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, training,certifications, and work location.
