## Material HandlerApplylocations: Rolling Meadows, ILtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R25763**Position Responsibilities:*** Load and unload trucks or from pallets, trays, storage racks, conveyors, and machines* Enter transactions into computer system or catalog* Maintain First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory system* Ensure all counts and shipping documents accurately represent material and product being shipped and received before signing* Sort and place materials in predetermined storage locations in the warehouse or plant* Report material shortages to purchasing agent or warehouse supervisor* Ensure all overnight and ground shipments are processed daily* Accurately count and record material and product during physical inventories and audits* Comply with all safety rules, policies and procedures, maintain neat and orderly work areas* Other duties as assigned**Qualifications:*** High school diploma or GED required* 0 – 1+ years of general work experience* Ability to read and understand the English language* Must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal* Must possess basic math skills* Ability to learn to operate powered lift trucks and other material movers* Strong organizational skills, detail oriented* Must be a team player and maintain appropriate attendance standard**Work Environment:**The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
