Responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment such as sit down forklift, pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse and construction sites.
  • Perform order picking and packing duties accurately to prepare materials for shipping or delivery to various construction locations.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect materials for quality and damage.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and update warehouse management systems to reflect current inventory status.
  • Assist operations by supplying necessary materials, tools, and equipment and ensuring continuous workflow.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines and support peak operational periods.
  • Utilize bar code scanning technology to track materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize material handling tasks and resolve any logistical issues.
