Material Handler

Position location: Platte City, Missouri

This warehouse position focuses on our Generator Manufacturing Division. Responsibilities include ensuring the efficient flow of materials, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining inventory records, and assisting in packaging and shipping.

Job Duties
  • Confirm the accuracy and quality of incoming deliveries
  • Manage warehouse stock and documentation
  • Create labels and organize materials systematically
  • Store parts and maintain production sheets
  • Locate products during the build process
  • Maintain documentation for returns
  • Examine work orders for correct materials
  • Load/unload materials and assemble storage containers
  • Update stock and inventory records
  • Perform equipment maintenance
  • Communicate purchasing needs and monitor product availability
  • Collaborate to resolve delivery issues
  • Handle materials per policies and laws
  • Assist team members to meet customer needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
