Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service, part of the Taylor Group, is hiring a Warehouse Parts Associate for the SSI-Philadelphia DOC in Philadelphia, MS. You will receive, store, and prepare Taylor OEM parts for shipment while keeping storage areas orderly.

Requires a High School diploma or GED and at least three years of relevant experience, plus basic computer skills and ability to operate a forklift and Combilift. This full-time position offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Receives, identifies, boxes, and stores service parts in an orderly manner.
• Retrieves parts as directed by sales order or shipping lists and prepares them for shipment.
• Assists in setting up new storage locations and maintains cleanliness of storage areas.
• Verifies shipments for correct parts, addresses, and shipping method.
• Operates forklift and Combilift equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• As assigned by supervisor, receives, identifies, boxes, and stores service parts in an orderly manner.
• Retrieves parts as directed by sales order or shipping lists. Prepares parts for shipment to include building shipping containers for certain parts. Dispatches by best method.
• Assists supervisor in setting up new storage locations and helps to maintain cleanliness and order in these locations.
• Reviews parts before shipment to include right number of parts in the shipment, addresses are correct, all comments on order are fulfilled, and correct type of shipment is assigned to the package (UPS, 2nd day, ground, etc.)
• Operates equipment such as Forklift, Overhead Crane, Combilift, etc.
• Pulls and puts parts up at Inventory Storage Building 14.
• Assists in painting when time permits.
