Job summary

Sudden Service, INC in Mississippi is seeking a Warehouse Parts Associate to receive, identify, box, and store Taylor OEM parts, ensuring accurate inventory and shipment readiness.

Responsibilities include preparing parts for dispatch, using forklifts and equipment, maintaining orderly storage, and supporting supervisors to keep fast, accurate service for Taylor Machine Works customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three years of job experience or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.

Sudden Service, INC (SSI) is a subsidiary of the Taylor Group of Companies, a third-generation family-owned business based in Louisville, MS since 1927.Duties/Responsibilities:As assigned by supervisor, receives, identifies, boxes, and stores service parts in an orderly manner.Retrieves parts as directed by sales order or shipping lists. Prepares parts for shipment to include building shipping containers for certain parts. Dispatches by best method.Assists supervisor in setting up new storage locations and helps to maintain cleanliness and order in these locations.Reviews parts before shipment to include right number of parts in the shipment, addresses are correct, all comments on order are fulfilled, and correct type of shipment is assigned to the package (UPS, 2nd day, ground, etc.)Operates equipment such as Forklift, Overhead Crane, Combilift, etc.Pulls and puts parts up at Inventory Storage Building 14.Assists in painting when time permits.Required Skills/Abilities:Basic computer skillsGeneral knowledge of Taylor Parts System preferredMust be able to operator Forklift and CombiliftEducation and Experience:High School Graduate or GED equivalent.Three years of job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability.Benefits:Medical/PrescriptionDentalVisionVacation10 Holidays401KLife Insurance
