Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. This is a Contract to Hire, fully onsite role.

You will receive shipments, unload and move materials, and operate material handling equipment to keep materials flowing safely and efficiently. You will verify shipments, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records while using RF scanners and inventory systems.

Job description

Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler

• Responsible for receiving incoming shipments, unloading and moving materials throughout the facility, and ensuring accurate inventory transactions. Operate material handling equipment to transport raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, perform inventory counts, maintain shipping and receiving documentation, and support warehouse operations.

• Utilize RF scanners and inventory systems as needed while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available to meet operational demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting cycle counts, tracking material movements, and investigating inventory discrepancies.

• Prepare and stage materials for production while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety requirements.

• Assist with order fulfillment, packaging, and shipment preparation to support on-time delivery and efficient warehouse operations.

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a regulated manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
