Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Presta AG in Park City, KS is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move raw materials and finished products using a forklift. You will load/unload trucks, stock items, and pick orders on the busy warehouse floor, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include accurate inventory, cycle counts, and light paperwork while working 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. A high school diploma, forklift experience, and basic math are required; English literacy is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English; French not required unless in Quebec.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform basic math.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping.
• Safety Mindset.

Job Summary

Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
• Loads and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle Counts.
• Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.
• Performs general clean up.
• Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
• Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.
• Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions

Preferred Requirements:

• Use of handheld measuring tools
• Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs.
