The Material Handler will support manufacturing by providing sufficient materials and supplies, containing all plastic resins, and transporting raw and finished goods to designated areas as determined by the IQ materials management system (IQMS).

Schedule

Monday - Friday, with some weekends required.
2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

$18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Report 30 minutes prior to your shift to review priorities with the previous lead and shift supervisor.
• Inventory plastic resins to ensure machines do not run dry; check equipment functionality and temperatures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring cords and hoses are properly stored.
• Clean machines and related equipment after each use to prevent contamination; perform maintenance as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of resins at each machine and restock as necessary.
• Remove empty gaylords and finished goods from the production floor to designated staging areas.
• Dispose of trash daily, keeping the work area clean.
• Restock materials and supplies throughout the shift and at shift change.
• Coordinate with the shift supervisor regarding job completion and material usage.

Skills and Abilities

• Mechanically inclined with hands-on skills.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk between departments.
