Job summary

WB Industries in O’Fallon, MO is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to support receiving, inventory, production, and shipping while keeping materials organized and on schedule.

You will move and inspect materials across the operation and work with a small-team atmosphere in a family-owned aerospace fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading, receiving, measuring, and inspecting incoming materials.

• Perform cycle counts and participate in inventory audits.
• Load finished products onto trucks and ensure proper load securement.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading, receiving, measuring, and inspecting incoming materials.
• Stage and organize incoming material of all types appropriately and ensure all material is stored in such a manner as to prevent damage/loss.
• Assist with resolving problems/issues with incoming material by working with appropriate departments.
• Compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining products and inventory.
• Perform regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while handling and transporting materials.
• Load or assist with loading finished products to be delivered to vendors or customers onto trucks.
• Oversee adequacy of load securement by truck driver and adjust as necessary to ensure product is protected from damage during shipment.
