Job summary

Robinson Lumber Company is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Material Handler in New Albany, Indiana. This full-time, hands-on role focuses on safely handling lumber and materials, organizing inventory, and keeping the yard running efficiently.

You will stack, sort, and move materials, assist with shipping/receiving, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous lumber, warehouse, manufacturing, or forklift experience is a plus, but not required—we're willing to train motivated individuals.

As a Material Handler, you'll play an important role in our daily operations by safely handling lumber and other materials, organizing inventory, and keeping the yard running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Stack, sort, and organize lumber and other materials
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the yard
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Perform other general yard and production duties as assigned
