Job Summary

Primary responsibility of the Material Handler is picking, packing, and shipping world-class guitars. We are seeking career-oriented individuals who desire to become a part of a world-class team. This is a full-time position in an aggressive, fast-paced distribution environment.

Essential Functions
  • Warehouse experience is desired.
  • Ideal candidates will transition between performing pulling kits, accepting deliveries, distributing kits to the main plant, counting and weighing parts and data entry for inventory purposes.
  • Housekeeping duties within the warehouse.
  • Restock the area with the necessary supplies.
  • Driving a forklift.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules
  • Obligation to submit Safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR code
  • Support the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improvement of our safety processes
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities

Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience should center on daily production requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
