Job summary

Wastequip Manufacturing Company LLC in Mount Sterling, KY is seeking a Material Handler to support welding operations by ensuring timely supply of materials, performing cleanups, and assisting with testing after assembly.

You will handle parts, operate basic tools, and participate in safety practices, including PPE, 5S standards, and accurate record keeping. This hands-on role emphasizes teamwork and attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with metal grinding and basic assembly.
• Ability to use hand tools (wrenches, Allen keys) and power tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Supply production with materials and parts to meet demand.
• Move parts to holding or staging areas using carts or pump trucks.
• Conduct safety inspections and basic maintenance on tools.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping on the work floor and ensure accurate records.
• Assist area Supervisor or Manager with other duties.
