Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred or required for preferred candidate.
• Experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock.
• Locate materials by pulling and verifying items listed on orders.
• Deliver materials to production and staging areas and prepare for inspection.
• Operate and perform pre-use inspections on material handling equipment (forklifts, manlifts, chariots).
• Contribute to team goals by completing duties and responsibilities as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a plant environment. This role routinely uses various machinery including forklifts, manlifts, and chariots.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. The employee will be required to reach with hands and arms, push, pull and/or lift, climb or balance, kneel and frequently lift to 50 lbs. Repetitive hand actions, including grasping and fine manipulations, is an essential part of the job’s physical demands.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Sunday through Thursday night from 10pm to 8am and occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Little to no travel is expected for this position.
